Alcohol Breathalyser
Onsite breath alcohol testing is conducted using high quality breathalyser designed for workplace use. Breathalysers are regularly calibrated to ensure accuracy to Australian Standard AS 3547
On-Site Testing
A qualified tester will be present at the designated workplace to conduct testing. The tester will need access to a private room with a private bathroom for urine collection, (if applicable). The testing area will be arranged to enhance the testing process. In the event of an employee's instant drug test showing a non-negative result, the tester will handle the specimen following the chain of custody protocol and arrange for transportation to an independent lab for confirmation testing. If there is a non-negative instant drug test result or a positive breath alcohol test result, the tester will promptly inform the appropriate site contact to ensure compliance with the necessary work policy procedures.
After the Testing
Upon the completion of the onsite testing, a summary report will be given to you which will contain the results of each individual tested.
In case a non-negative result is obtained and confirmation is required, we will provide the report promptly (depending on laboratory processing times). This report will present the outcome of the test and clearly indicate whether the individual's test result is confirmed as positive or negative.
Qualifications & Standards
On-site testing is conducted by a Certified Drug & Alcohol Screening Officer meeting the requirements of AS/NZS4308 & AS4760.
